Firefighters called to blaze in Heath Road, East Farleigh, after a forklift burst into flames

Three fire engines were called to put out a flaming forklift.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident in Heath Road, East Farleigh, at 4am today and spent over an hour putting out the blaze.

A spokesperson for the fire service confirmed no injuries were reported.

It said: “The main cause of fire is believed to have been due to a faulty fuel supply.”

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose-reel jet to extinguish the flames.

Crews finished on scene at 5.24am.
