Dusk 2 Dawn nightclub in Maidstone cordoned off by police after men 'stabbed'

Two people have been arrested after two men were rushed to hospital having been stabbed outside a nightclub.

The King Street entrance of Dusk 2 Dawn in Maidstone is taped off, with forensics teams on the scene, following the attack which happened in the early hours of this morning.

Officers were called at around 4am, where two men were found in the outside area of the club with injuries.

Both victims were taken to a London hospital where they were treated for stab wounds.

Witnesses reported that a man approached the pair looking for drugs, then attacked them after they said they were not interested.

A 29-year-old man from Gravesend and a 28-year-old man from Swanley have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident however officers believe the victims and suspects are known to one another.

"A number of people were reported to be in the area at the time of the assault.

"Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that could assist their enquiries.
