Voters across the Maidstone borough went to the polls yesterday to play their part in deciding who will represent them at Kent County Council.

The first result in the borough has seen the Conservatives lose out to Reform - who have taken the Maidstone South East seat.

We’ve been following the action at today’s counts here, with 81 seats up for grabs in 72 electoral divisions.
