Traffic was queueing heading into Maidstone town centre after a lorry and a car collided.
Police were at the scene on the A229 Loose Road near the junction with Armstrong Road heading northbound.
The road was reopened just after 9am.
A police spokesman said: "Police were notified at 8.02am of a collision involving a lorry and a car on Loose Road, Maidstone.
"No injuries have been reported."
