A motorway was blocked last night due to an overturned vehicle.

The incident took place on the M20 eastbound between Junction 8 for Maidstone and Junction 9 for Ashford at around 8pm.

There were long delays due to the crash and the road reopened at around 9pm.

A police spokesperson said: “Patrols, highways officers and fire crews attended the scene where minor injuries were reported and arrangements were made to recover the vehicle.”
