Drivers were facing delays this morning after an overturned van closed two lanes of traffic.

Highways England were at the scene on the M20 between junction 7, for Detling, and junction 8, for Leeds.

The van, with a trailer attached, flipped earlier this morning.

Officers closed lane one and two while they moved the trailer onto the hard shoulder.

Motorists were being asked to drive carefully past the scene and observe the reduced speed limit.

The van and trailer have been recovered and all lanes are open.
