Drivers suffered delays after a major route was left partially blocked following a collision.

The A249 southbound was blocked between junction five of the M2 (Stockbury Roundabout) and M20 junction seven (Maidstone, Detling Hill).

Emergency services attended the scene.

Images show two cars have left the road.

It’s unknown if there are any injuries at the scene.

Kent Police have been contacted for further details.

But as of 4pm, it was reported that the road was clear and traffic flowing freely again.
