A249 southbound closed at Detling Hill for emergency repairs

Tonight highways workers will close the southbound A249 for emergency repairs to a collapsed manhole cover.

The road will be blocked to all traffic between 7.30pm and midnight from Scragged Oak Road to Jades Crossing.

Northbound traffic will be unaffected.
