A man's body was found next to a busy road in Maidstone town centre.
At 5am yesterday a body was discovered near Clive Emson Auctioneers and Setyres in Rocky Hill, London Road, by a member of the public on his way to work at Kent Broadway News.
Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Kent Police was called at around 5am on Thursday, July 9 to a report of a body in London Road, Maidstone.
"Officers attended along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service where a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s next of kin have been informed."
