Motorists were being caught in lengthy delays following a crash involving three vehicles.

The coastbound carriageway of the A229 Blue Bell Hill, in Maidstone, was partially blocked this morning (February 3).

Police officers were called just before 8am and attended the scene, near the Lord Lees Roundabout.

No injuries were reported.

There was congestion back to Walderslade Woods and across the M2 junction 3 roundabout at Chatham but it has since cleared.
