A swarm of flies led a property manager to the badly decomposed body of a man found hanged at his home.
Detectives have been unable to identify the man whose body was discovered at a house in Stagshaw Close on May 16 just metres away from a nursery and primary school.
During an inquest opening held at Archbishops Palace, assistant coroner Eileen Sproson revealed he was only found when a property manager tried to get rid of some flies.
He opened the window and that was the moment he made the gruesome discovery.
The man's body was so severely decomposed that identifying him was impossible.
A full inquest into his death will take place on September 9 at Archbishops Palace, Maidstone.
