Nine fire engines spent the night tackling a raging house fire, with warnings issued to the public.
Crews were sent to Douglas Road in Lenham yesterday (June 15) at around 8pm.
The fire service advised people in the area to keep windows and doors closed due to heavy smoke.
Initially, four fire engines were at the scene, however this was later increased to nine.
Crews used main jets to contain and extinguish the ongoing blaze.
In an update at 10pm, it was added that the Kent Fire and Rescue Service Volunteer Response Team was also in attendance to support affected residents.
At 7am today (June 16), the advice to keep windows and doors shut was lifted.
One fire engine remained at the home and crews were monitoring for any hotspots.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is currently unknown.
A final update was released at 12.03pm when the fire service confirmed its operations were complete.
Its Volunteer Response Team was still in attendance, supporting affected residents, its statement said.
