Blue Bell Hill has reopened after a car fire.

The north-bound carriageway of the A229 was reduced to one lane after the vehicle caught fire at around 9.20am.

Emergency services were called to the scene between junction 6 of the M20 and junction 3 of the M2.

The car has now been recovered and all lanes are open.

Delays had cleared by 10.45am.
