The bottom of the shop fronts red shutters were damaged and at around 9am two officers were seen standing outside with a police car.

Earlier this month a similar incident happened at CEX at The Forum shopping centre in Sittingbourne, where £15,000 worth of goods were stolen.

At the moment police aren't linking the two burglaries together, and no arrests have been made.

It's not known yet how many items were taken from the Maidstone store.

Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting crime reference 46/262620/21.
