Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash outside a pub at a “dangerous” junction.
An ambulance and police vehicles are at the crossroads junction next to The Plough in Sutton Road, Sutton Valence, near Maidstone, this afternoon.
It comes after a collision involving a car and moped at the junction with Leeds Road.
Kent County Council said motorists will experience delays in the area and should use an alternative route if possible.
A police spokesman said: Police were called at 1.30pm to a collision in Sutton Road, close to the junction with Leeds Road. The collision involved a car and a moped.
“Officers and ambulance crews attended and the bike rider has been taken to hospital with leg injuries.”
One woman posted on social media about her experience of crashing at the same site, labelling it an “awful junction”.
Another person added: “Hope no serious injuries but this junction is dangerous and something needs to be done to control traffic.”
A third said: “It’s a junction that needs traffic lights. People that don’t know the junction wouldn’t know how to engage it.”
The ambulance service added: “SECAmb were called shortly after 1.30pm to reports of a RTC involving a car and a motorbike outside the Plough Inn on Sutton Road in Sutton Valence.
“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before taking them to Tunbridge Wells Hospital for further medical treatment.”
