The Sevenoaks by-pass has been closed northbound at Hildenborough following a multi-car pileup.

The crash happened between the junctions with the A225 and the A25 after 2pm.

It is not clear if there are any casualties.

It follows reports of freak weather in Sevenoaks, with sudden hail and sleet showers.

The road is expected to be re-open by 4.30pm.
