A man's been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit on the M20 near Maidstone this morning.

Officers from Road Policing Unit stopped a Vauxhall Meriva between junction 8 and junction 9 for Tenterden and Canterbury around 2am.

The 28-year-old from Willesden, London was also found to have been disqualified from driving.

A police spokesman said he remains in custody and enquiries continue.
