Suspected safe thief in court over Harrietsham burglary

A suspected safe thief has appeared in court.

Jordan Boguslawski, 36, of no fixed address, is alleged to have taken two safes containing cash, personal documents and pieces of jewellery from a home in Sandway Road, Harrietsham, near Maidstone.

The man was arrested by Surrey Roads Police on the M23 on Saturday.

He was also arrested in connection with a burglary in Hemel Hempsted, Hertfordshire, reported the same day.

Boguslawski was charged with two counts of burglary on Monday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today.

At the hearing, he was further remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, October 22.
