Thugs rob man outside pub

POLICE are appealing for help after a man was attacked and robbed leaving a public house in Maidstone.

A group of men pounced on the victim, who is in his 40s, in the car park of the First and Last pub in Bower Lane. The victim was standing by his car at around 10pm on Sunday when he was approached by either two or three men.

The attack left him with cuts and bruises which were later treated by staff at Maidstone Hospital. The thieves ran off with the man's mobile phone and wallet.
