Bewl Water Aqua Park inflatable obstacle course opens

A new 'Total Wipeout' style inflatable water park will open tomorrow.

Bewl Aqua Park, will be pumped up and ready at Bewl Water near Lamberhurst for the first visitors this bank holiday weekend.

The giant water playground features climbing walls, trampolines, balancing bars, rockers, rollers and blast bags, similar to the inflatable obstacles used for the popular TV show Total Wipeout, hosted by Richard Hammond.

The attraction has been hotly anticipated by those looking to cool off since it was announced in Febraury.

Visitors should be aware that while the obstacle course promises unbridled excitement, some requirements need to be met beforehand.

The aqua park will operate with timed sessions throughout the day and will include a 10 minute safety briefing before sessions begin.

Children must be aged eight and older and be more than 1.2 metres tall (3.9 feet) while special sessions will be held for six and seven-year-olds.
