Trains were delayed this morning due to a swan on the tracks.

Services were unable to run between Maidstone East railway station and London.

Response staff arrived at the site at around 7am and managed to remove the bird by 7.30am.

Service disruption remained between Maidstone and London until about 9.30am.

Delays have since cleared.
