Two charged after Audis, BMW and Mazda stolen in Maidstone

Two men have been charged after cars including Audis, a BMW and a Mazda were stolen in Maidstone and Aylesford.

Police received reports of five break-ins across the town between November 21 and December 2, during which thieves entered homes, took keys and stole high-value vehicles parked outside.

Burglaries were carried out in New Hythe Lane and Hornbeam Close, Larkfield; and Harvesters Way and Meadowdown, Weavering.

Ryan Hull, 26, of Thanet Road, Erith and William Burton, 27, of Muir Drive, Dartford were arrested on Monday.

Both were later charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

Burton has been remanded in custody and Hull has been released on bail after appearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The next hearing is scheduled for January 3 at Woolwich Crown Court.
