Two lucky people from Kent have won hundreds of thousands of pounds on the lottery in the space of a week.
Mr B was lucky enough to scoop up the EuroMillions prize on February 7 winning £106,738.50.
He played a personal selection of sentimental numbers which came up trumps.
With his winnings, he plans to buy a new car and go on holiday.
A week later, in the special EuroMillions draw on February 14, Mr R won £1,000,000.
He played a Lucky Dip and his first purchase was new tools for his job. But he also wants to help his parents pay off their mortgage and buy his own home in the future.
During the Valentine's Day draw 14 people across the UK were made millionaires.
Around nine million players win The National Lottery’s games.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn which runs The National Lottery, said: “It is amazing news. What an incredible win for these lucky Kent winners.
“Mr B can now enjoy a fantastic holiday and look forward to driving his new car, and Mr R is going to have some very grateful parents while he looks for his future home. Huge congratulations.”
Each week, players help generate around £30m for National Lottery-funded projects.
More than 700,000 grants have been awarded to date. Funding goes towards the arts, sports sectors, and local community groups as well as preserving iconic British landmarks.
