Three women were left trapped in a car after a crash near Maidstone.

The accident, which involved two vehicles, happened on the Lidsing Road in Boxley just after 2.30pm.

A woman in her 40s had to be cut free from the wreckage by firefighters using rescue cutting gear.

The other two were helped out of the car by paramedics.

Police were also called to the scene.
