A road was closed after a vehicle collided with a parked car.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment this morning following the incident in Loose Road, Maidstone.

It happened between Boughton Lane and Rushmead Drive at around 8am. The road was closed until 10.40am.

Two fire engines attended, and crews made the scene safe.

The driver, who was out of the vehicle on arrival, was handed into the care of paramedics before she was taken to hospital.
