Head coach Hakan Hayrettin revealed after the game that an X-ray had ruled out a break, with an MRI scan the next step.

He appears to have little or no chance of facing Welling at the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday.

Stones head of football John Still said: "He's nowhere near being able to play at the moment.

"He's having an MRI scan this week so we'll know a bit more after that.

"The honest answer is I don’t know how long he'll be out but I wouldn't expect him to be available this weekend."

Justin Amaluzor and Doncaster loanee Max Watters formed a new strike partnership at Weymouth.

Amaluzor, a winger by trade, was a bright spark on a disappointing day and has scored three of their last four league goals.

Still said: "Max and Justin, that's really where we are with front players.

"We’ve been quite pleased with Justin. He’s been a bit up and down this season but he’s been very good the last few games, so hopefully he’ll carry that on."
