Aylesford Bulls may be without a win this season, but coach Richard Garrett says his players are not lacking when it comes to having heart.

Garrett knows his line-up won’t back down when unbeaten London 2 South East leaders Maidstone visit on Saturday.

The odds are stacked against Bulls but Garrett said: “The form book shows they should win and do it easy – they are unbeaten, we are bottom.

“There is no getting away from that statistic and the table never lies.

“We are the massive underdogs but we are not about to let them think they just have to turn up to win. They will certainly get a game of rugby – we’ll make certain of that, especially in the forwards.

“All my players are looking forward to the contest and you can be sure we won’t stop giving our all until the end of the 80 minutes.

"It could bring it down to a level playing field if it’s wet and cold. We’ll just have to wait and see.”
