Maidstone v Ramsgate
Maidstone joint-boss Lloyd Hume admits staying free of injuries and suspensions will be a key factor in the club's bid for a Ryman League Premier Division play-off spot.
Stones reports a clean bill of health ahead of the visit of Kent rivals Ramsgate to Bourne Park on Saturday
The two teams were involved in a fiesty encounter earlier in the season which Stones won 2-1, their first win against the Thanet side for six years.
Hume said: “It’is always a huge fixture because of the history between Jim and the club. But that is all quite old now and I’d prefer to play it down, and treat it like any other game.”
Youngsters Keelan Mooney, Ashley Ulph, Ant Bodle and James Peacock have got the chance to push their first-team claims after the playing budget was cut earlier this month and Hume added: “ They are now part of the squad, and have all got fantastic potential.”
Ramsgate arrive fresh from their long-overdue first home league win after beating Sutton 3-1 last week.
