Maidstone United sell Jamar Loza to Billericay Town

Maidstone winger Jamar Loza has joined Billericay for an undisclosed fee.

Loza had been on loan at Woking since early October, scoring a hat-trick against Weston, and he played in their FA Cup third-round tie against Premier League Watford last weekend.

The loan was recently extended but he’s now on the move to the Cards’ National South rivals.

Stones chief executive Bill Wiliams said: “We’re sorry to see Jamar go but football never ever stands still. This move is something that Jamar wanted to happen and the club wishes him well in the future.”

Loza, 24, joined Maidstone in October 2016, finishing as their leading scorer with 10 goals in his first season.

Ankle surgery wrecked the 2017-18 campaign for the Jamaica international but he earned a new deal after proving his fitness.
