Snodland didn’t have a game at the weekend as their match against VCD Athletic was postponed but there was plenty of off-field activity.

Town announced Walker’s departure on Friday night, with a message saying: “We have parted ways with first team manager Byron Walker.

“We would like to thank him and his management team for all their efforts this season, we wish them all the best for the future.”

Outgoing boss Walker wrote a message on X, saying: “Thank you to my management team and everyone at Snodland Town.

“It wasn’t easy rebuilding but now the club has a great set of young professional players eager to learn and elevate their careers.

“Wishing the club and all involved much success for the rest of the season.”

Their last game was a 3-2 away defeat to Erith & Belvedere and the team sit just above the relegation places in the table.

On Saturday, Jessup was unveiled as their new boss, along with his management team of Aaron Lacy and Luke Hewitt.

The three were in charge of Blair at the start of the season, having taken over towards the back end of the previous campaign.

But just two months into the 2024/25 season, Blair axed the trio after a run of poor results in the league and a string of early exits from cup competitions.

Snodland play at home to Fisher this Saturday.
