Maidstone have rebuilt their side on a manic day at the Gallagher Stadium.

Former Charlton defender Lawrie Wilson was the first man through the door, the 31-year-old joining on a month’s loan from Ebbsfleet.

Olo Durojaiye was confirmed shortly afterwards, with the midfielder in line to face his old club after signing from Braintree and aiming to prove a point.

Maidstone went on to unveil young left-back Jack Doyle on a three-month loan deal from Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers.

The fourth new arrival was Hartlepool striker Jake Cassidy, who’s joined on loan until January.

Cassidy, a former Wales under-21 international, played against the Stones on the opening day of the season and made 25 appearances over four years at Wolves.

New boss Harry Wheeler’s fifth recruit is striker Norman Wabo, on a one-month loan from Southend.

Wabo, 20, made three appearances for the Shrimpers in League 1 last season before joining Ebbsfleet on loan.

The lively forward played eight times as Fleet reached the National League play-offs but didn’t score.
