Maidstone United sign former Bournemouth striker Joe Quigley

Maidstone have signed striker Joe Quigley following his release by Premier League Bournemouth.

Quigley, who made his debut for the Republic of Ireland under-21s in March, has signed a one-year deal.

The 21-year-old spent a decade with the Cherries and also had loan spells with Gillingham, Newport, Torquay, Woking and Boreham Wood.

Boss Jay Saunders and chief executive Bill Williams worked hard to get the deal over the line.
