Cray winger Anthony Cook capped a fine display with two goals in their 3-1 Isthmian Premier win over Lewes as Danny Kedwell made a dream start to management.

Debutant Ahmed Abdulla immediately endeared himself to Sittingbourne fans by scoring a first-half hat-trick in a 4-0 Isthmian South East win against Lancing.

Brickies old boy Tommie Fagg also completed a hat-trick, with all his goals coming in the second half, as Ashford opened with a 3-1 victory over Burgess Hill.
