Accident on the M20 near Wrotham after J2, leading to the A20 London Road

There has been an accident involving four vehicles on the M20 near Wrotham, which led to queueing for two miles.

All lanes have reopened but traffic was temporarily held following the incident, which happened this morning on the London-bound lane after J2, leading to the A20 London Road.

There was no reported injuries and traffic was being held in order to move the vehicles to the hard shoulder.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 6.35am to a collision on the London bound M20, near junction two.

"The collision involved four vehicles and there were no reported injuries. Police attended and temporary lane closure were put in place, which have now been lifted."
