Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to reports of a person in difficulty in a boat at Leybourne Lakes.

Fire and ambulance crews as well as police officers were also called to the scene at the country park between Snodland and Leybourne at around 1.20pm.

However the individual was able to safely manoeuvre themselves to shore and had sustained no injuries.

Crews have since left the scene.
