Now the company has appeared at Maidstone Crown Court to plead not guilty to failing to discharge a duty under Health and Safety at Work laws.

The plea was entered by barrister James Leonard on behalf of BCA.

Mr Husher was airlifted to hospital two years ago with serious leg injuries after being hit by a vehicle at a car auction.

The auction centre immediately halted sales that day.

The trial, which is expected to take up to five days, is now listed for January 24, 2022.
