Cars were damaged after a garden fire spread in Aylesford.

This afternoon firefighters were called to garden blaze in Forstal Road.

Two fire engines attended and crews used main jets to extinguish the flames, which had spread to fencing and two cars parked nearby.

Two other cars were damaged as a result of the heat. No casualties were reported.

A spokesman for the Kent Fire & Rescue Service confirmed the cause is not known yet.
