According to witnesses, two men entered the store, grabbed some vodka cans, and ran off.

Moments later, they reportedly returned, shouting at the cashier and throwing screenwash at him, damaging the till in the process.

About two hours later, the same pair were said to have returned, attempting to take more cans.

When the cashier tried to stop them, they allegedly began hurling items including chocolate bars and a newspaper at them, before fleeing when a customer entered.

No one was physically hurt, but staff say they have been left shaken and nervous about working late.
