The A20 has been shut following a serious crash between a motorcycle and a van.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene on London Road at Wrotham Heath at 5.40am.

The road is closed between Seven Mile Lane and the A25 Maidstone Road.

Kent Police Roads on Twitter warned it is likely to be closed for several hours.

Drivers are advised to consider alternative routes.
