Firefighters tackled a blaze that saw smoke billowing across the village sky.
Crews were called to Glenton Avenue in Kings Hill earlier this afternoon after rubbish and undergrowth set alight.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed the call came at 12.59pm and four engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to tackle the fire.
The fire was extinguished by 3.21pm.
