The Little Gem pub in Aylesford sold at auction

A former high street pub, once known as the UK's smallest, has been sold.

The Little Gem in Aylesford went for £150,000 at action on Monday.

The 12th Century building goes to the buyer with planning permission to be transformed into a residence.

John Stockey, auctioneer, said: “There is a still growing demand for residential accommodation and there was plenty of interest in this lot.”
