Kent Fire and Rescue Service attend lorry blaze between junctions 3 and 2 of the M20 London bound

Fire crews were called to a lorry blaze which was causing delays on a busy stretch of motorway last night.

Disruption was still being experienced this morning after the 40 ft articulated trailer went up in flames on the hard shoulder of the London bound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 3 and 2.

Two fire engines and a water tanker attended the incident at 3.37am and spent an hour tackling the blaze, which left the trailer severely damaged.
