Motorcyclist seriously injured in Ditton crossroads crash

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries to his leg and chest following a crash at a crossroads.

Officers were called to Station Road, in Ditton, at around 8pm on Friday, September 14, following a report that a Volkswagen Beetle and a Suzuki GSX-R 600 motorbike had collided.

The crash happened close to the junction with the London Road and the motorcyclist was taken to a London hospital for treatment to a serious leg and chest injury.

He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Inquiries into the collision remain ongoing and no arrests have been made.

Investigating officers are however keen to hear from anybody that witnessed the collision, or who saw the vehicles travelling in the moments leading up to the collision.

They would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage, should any be available.
