B2016 Seven Mile Lane closed from Moody Mare Pub to the Mereworth turnoff closed after crash

A notorious stretch of road was closed in both directions following a crash between a lorry and car.

The route affected is the B2016 Seven Mile Lane from The Moody Mare Pub to the Mereworth turnoff.

Police arrived at the scene at 7.15pm and traffic movement in the area is reported to be very slow.

The road reopened just after 8am.
