Railings outside a school have been left warped and knocked over after a van came off the road and ploughed into them.

The vehicle smashed into the green metal fence outside Brookfield Junior School in Kingfisher Road, Larkfield shortly after 2am this morning.

A grey van was reportedly recovered from the scene at around 8am.

Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a man was treated for an injury to his back.
