Rare King Edward VII post box stolen from Crockham Hill, Edenbridge

Police are appealing for witnesses after a rare post box was stolen.

The King Edward VII cast iron artefact was taken from an address near Spout Lane in Crockham Hill, Edenbridge, last month.

It is between 115 and 124 years old, and officers say considerable damage was caused to a stone wall during its removal.

The theft took place between 11.30pm on March 24 and 8am on March 25.

Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam who may have been in the area at the time have been asked to check for footage.
