A woman has died following what police describe as a "medical incident" at a property in Maidstone.

Police, ambulance and forensics were spotted outside an address on Beaver Road in Allington this morning.

The woman, who was in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been prepared for the coroner.

Police say they were called at around 8.30am to assist South East Coast Ambulance Service with the medical incident.

One witness who lives nearby said: "Two ambulances and two rapid response cars arrived before 8am today. I don’t know when the police arrived but forensic team came around 11.30am.

"The front door is being guarded by police."
