Up to 10 police vehicles were seen at the store in the early hours of Sunday.
A 39-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a public order offence and supplying a psychoactive substance (nitrous oxide).
He has been released on bail until Saturday, December 14.
Witnesses said crowds were spotted walking to Rochester and Strood train stations after police broke up the event.
The shelled-out store was littered with empty bottles and there was discarded drug paraphernalia outside on Sunday morning.
Police were at the store carrying out investigations.
