Drivers and motorcyclists dispersed from Meday City Estate by police

A large gathering or cars and motorcycles were causing disruption on the Medway City Estate last night.

Police were called after concerns over nuisance vehicles were raised.

Officers attended and people were given strict instruction to leave and vehicles and bystanders were dispersed.

A spokesman for the force said: "We take all reports of antisocial behaviour seriously, and people who drive in an antisocial manner may face prosecution or have their vehicles taken away from them."

So called boy racers have been a problem on Medway City Estate for several years, with police putting dispersal orders in place across two weekends in July last year.

Anyone who wishes to report nuisance vehicles can do so by calling 101. You can also report any issues online by visiting the website.
