Victory party or coronation celebration? We need your help to solve this picture puzzle

This wonderful picture of a street party was taken somewhere in the Medway Towns, but where was it and when was it? The joyful look on the faces suggest the occasion was worth celebrating.

It could be a VE Day celebration in 1945, but might it be for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II? There are a few buntings but nothing extravagant.

What we have been told is that the woman fourth from the right is Pat Price, formerly Lively, with someone named Uncle Will second from right.

It has been suggested the party may have taken place in Maida Road, Luton, though there have been other suggestions that it may have been in the Delce area of Rochester.

Perhaps you recognise yourself among the excited youngsters?
